Modulebaan 'De Niggende Saligheyd' - Hugo Baart

Deze modelbaan (van het lid Hugo Baart) is gesitueerd in een fictief landschap. Eigenlijk bedoeld als thuisbaan op de zolder maar door omstandigheden omgebouwd tot een tentoonstellingsbaan. Op de zolder is er ongeveer 10 jaar, met tussenpozen, aan gebouwd aan deze H0e baan. In die 10 jaar zijn er tal van leuke items gevonden waarvan ik meende dat die paste in het geheel. Vandaar dat er veel te ontdekken valt op deze modelbaan. Een blikvanger is het station. Het origineel staat in Gorssel en was daar een tramstation. Een replica werd gebouwd bij het Smalspoormuseum aan het Valkenburgsemeer (ZH). En is weer nagebouwd en geplaatst op de modelbaan. De liefde voor het dorp ,Eersel, en de streek , De Kempen, heb is voor mij aanleiding geweest om in het dialect het station Irsel te benoemen. Aangezien de Kempen acht zaligheden kent werd dit dus “De Niggende Saligheyd”. Ik zou zeggen kijk en geniet.
